Helena&Wyatt

Helena and Wyatt believe in love. I remember the first time Helena told me, with giant heart shaped eyes, that he was "the one".  She told me that she knew that this was it and that it was going to last forever. I smiled and I believed her the way I believe people in love. Then I met him and I saw the way their energy danced together, the way time stopped around them, and the way that they just seemed to fit. Romantic abstractions, a story beyond mind, as it was only a few short months after she first introduced me that they felt confident enough within what they had found to marry. A simple and intimate ceremony for family followed by well wishes as they embark on their next big adventure; building a life together in Japan. This is what love is like though. It changes everything, expands the possibilities, and takes you to the places you were afraid to go alone.

Ashley & Rob's engagement

These are two of my favorite people and I had the profound honor of taking their engagement photos.  Our serendipitous walk through the woods provided more beauty than I could have imagined... pockets of light, lush ferns, dreamy little creeks, towering trees and the biggest smiles.  It's pretty incredible to see the ones you love so blissfully happy and to document those moments.

thank you, dear friends.  sure do love your love.

Jeremey and Kerry

Jeremey and Kerry are genuinely good, kind, giving, thoughtful, beautiful souls.

During our consultation:  I discovered that they were the ones who gifted supplies, gas money (that they had been saving for a trip), a pendleton blanket to keep us warm and a flower of life sticker that was placed on my car to bless our journey to Standing Rock.  I loved them before I even met them.

Their wedding day was a perfect reflection of their love for each other and those they hold dear.  It started with a private sound bath at the Integratron for their family and friends, to which Kerry wore her mother's wedding dress.  The sacred time and space that was created there carried throughout the rest of the day.  Every detail was sentimental (especially her stunning ceremony gown, that was her grandmother's).  Every moment was cherished.  Every person felt the love and returned it tenfold.

What an honor it was to document it all.  What an honor it is to know this incredible couple.

Laura & George

Laura and George's new year's eve wedding was full of sequins and vibrant celebration.  Their beautiful ceremony included ring blessings from the guests and a tea ceremony to honor their parents.  These intimate moments truly expanded the vibrations of love throughout the room.  With confetti, sparklers and noise makers they rang in the new year with those they hold dear.

Krista And Ben

There was something about the elements that day that blessed us all in a way I had never felt before. My heart opened to this specially curated crowd of people, to the intimacy shared between them, and to the spirit of playful innocence and joy that seemed to touch every person present. I am always so excited to see Lancaster come together in love and celebration.  I was so honored to be a part of this incredible magic and wish Krista and Ben the greatest of journeys together.

Krystle and Jeremiah

Jeremiah had noticed that there weren't any good pictures of him and Krystle and had mentioned it to her a few times. She responded with this session for his birthday.

It was incredible spending the day with the two of them, watching them play, and respond to each others touch. I was moved  as I watched the quality of openness they shared effect my heart's opening, too. I guess that is how it works though.

I am thankful for moments captured, like these.

Caspar&Dave

We travelled from the desert to Venice Beach to capture this event. The cool breeze was a relief from the heat we had been experiencing in Joshua Tree all week but found our hearts still blazing with love as we witnessed Dave and Caspar express their truest love, surrounded by an incredibly beautiful community. The cafe was filled with light and laughter and I swear that was one of the greatest meals I ever experienced, served family style, reflecting perfectly the overall feeling of this day. We are so grateful to have had this experience and wish you both the loveliest of lifetimes together!! Congratulations!

Erin & Travis

"Shot through with lights of stars and dawns,
And shadowed sweet by ferns and fawns,
-- Thus heaven and earth together vie
Their shining depths to sanctify.

Always when the large form of love
Is hid by storms that rage above,
I gaze in my two springs and see
love in his very verity".
